Our Lady Faith Formation Program is divided into two cycles:
Fall Program is September through December: Includes all families regardless of which Winter option is chosen
Fall 2023 Session: September through December
Save the Date: Sun., Sept. 11, 2022, 12:00 p.m.
Save the date: Sun., Nov. 6, 2022 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.
December is our FFP Family Film Festival.
Save the date: Sun- Thursday, Dec. 4-8, 6:00p.m. Attend one film and students will answer questions about the film from their grade level.
Winter sessions begin in January-April 2023. Students will then attend their chosen options;

Grade K – 5 Sunday after Mass 10:00-10:55 am
Grades K-5 After School 3:45-5:00 pm
Grades 6, 7, & 8 Monday Evening 6:00-7:00 pm
*Transportation: Please contact Aurora bus garage for afterschool transportation.
Winter 2022 Session: Home-Based Program
This inter-generational program is designed to assist parents who are leading the Faith Formation Program with their children in the home.
Assignments are due each month with all assignments for the year due by the end of April in order to receive religious education credit and a certificate of completion for the year. Due to current health precautions we will not have monthly group gatherings.

- September is our kick off month for parents. All parents whose students are participating in any of the program options are expected to participate. The session will explanation of our program’s resources and procedures. Student/family workbooks will be available for pickup at church. Only kindergarten assignments will be available in paper form. Grades 1-8 assessments will all be available to be completed on-line.
Save the Date: Sun., Sept. 11, 2022, 12:00 p.m.
- October and November will be a Family Faith and Service opportunity. Parents and students from ALL Winter options are expected to attend. Completed assigned lessons will be finished on-line. Kindergarten will still need to turn in work via email, snail mail or drop off to the front office.

Sacramental Requirements:
The Diocese of Youngstown requires two years of religious education and faithful attendance in the program before any Sacrament can be celebrated. Additional sessions are scheduled for 8th graders seeking the Sacrament of Confirmation. There are 7 Sunday evenings throughout the school year that confirmation candidates will be meeting.

Assessment Requirements:
All grades have assigned assessments during the Fall and Winter Session. Students will earn a certificate of completion upon successful completion. Students in Grades 6th, 7th and 8th have an end of the year assessment. Those students in 6th, 7th and 8th grade that turn in all homework, by the end of the year, will have earned their certificate of completion and will be exempt from the final.

If you know your child/youth will be absent prior to the date, please send a signed note to your child’s catechist.
If your child is unable to attend at the “last minute”, please call 330-562-8519 ext. 8 and give the name, grade and reason your child will miss class.
Please note extension number change: (was x 333) is now x8
Unless prior notice of absence has been received at the parish office, parents/guardians will be contacted by phone during class time. Be sure we have the best number to call during class time.
If no one answers the phone number we have to reach you:
For Students in 6th, 7th and 8th grade 100% participation is expected. If they attend class, they are given credit for that lesson, but if they miss then they are expected to make-up that assessment on their own. If that is done, they are exempt from the end of the year final test.
- 1st child $75.00
- 2nd child $50.00
- 3rd child $50.00
- 4th child free
- Catechist’s reduced fee $35.00 per child
- Aid reduced fee $45.00 per child

- Reconciliation/Eucharist one fee $75.00
- Confirmation fee $75.00
